Template description

Approve headcount leads to Post job, Resume screening, and Interview loops, and only then to the Hire decision diamond. Yes extends an offer, then runs Background check, then Start onboarding. The background check is after the offer, not before the decision. No leaves the pipeline at Add to talent pool. That box has no arrow back to Interview loops and no arrow into onboarding. A person you do not hire is not drawn as someone you will interview again. The yes path is the only path that reaches a first day.

When to use it

Open it when a hiring manager wants to send a no back through another interview loop, or when someone places the background check before the decision diamond. The drawing keeps the pool as a stop and the check as a step that happens only after Extend offer.

How to adapt it

Split Interview loops into the rounds you actually run. If the background check must pass before you extend the offer, reorder those two boxes. If the talent pool should feed a later role, add that arrow and name the role. Add a decline-after-offer box if candidates refuse, because this picture has no such exit. Rename Approve headcount to the requisition your finance team recognizes.
