That arrow does not return to enrollment, so a reminder is a stop in this drawing, not a loop. Yes issues a reward. The reward then splits. Showcase success loops back to Friends enroll, which is how the next friend hears about it. Update CRM tags leaves the reward on a separate arrow and does not return anywhere. The growth loop is the public showcase. The CRM write is a side effect. The reminder never feeds either of those boxes.
When to use it
Use it when a community manager and a CRM owner disagree about what actually brings the next enrollment. You can point at the only arrow that re-enters Friends enroll and show that it leaves Showcase success, not Send reminder and not the tag update.
How to adapt it
If a reminder should chase the friend again, draw that return yourself and say how many times it may fire. Name the rule on Meets rules, such as a completed profile or a first purchase. Split Issue reward if different rewards should showcase differently. Add fields under Update CRM tags only for tags you will really write, and do not connect that box back to enrollment unless the tag itself triggers an invite.
