Template description

The chart is titled Product Roadmap and is banded into Discovery, Delivery, and Scale. User research lasts 7 days. Solution validation lasts 10 days and starts after research. Build MVP lasts 20 days, the longest bar, and starts after validation. Beta launch lasts 7 days after the MVP. GA release lasts 5 days after beta. Iterative improvements lasts 15 days after GA. Every bar uses an after link, so the sections do not overlap. Improvements are not drawn beside the MVP. They begin only once GA release has finished. The short GA bar is a gate between beta and the improvement window, not the bulk of the quarter.

When to use it

Use it when a roadmap review treats GA as the long pole, or when someone wants improvement work to run during the MVP. The bar lengths and the after links contradict both habits. The picture is a sequence you can redate, not a capacity plan.

How to adapt it

Replace the day counts with your quarter, and break Build MVP if 20 days hides real milestones. If research and validation overlap, remove the after link between them. If improvements should start at beta rather than after GA, retarget that dependency. Rename the sections if your language is now, next, and later. Keep the chain if the point of the meeting is that one slip moves every later bar.
