Template description

The chart is titled Content Calendar and is grouped into Planning, Production, and Launch. Theme alignment is a 2 day bar. Asset assignment is 2 days and starts after it. Writing and design then takes 4 days, the longest bar, and QA and approvals takes 2 days after that. Launch holds Multi-channel publish for 1 day and Engagement boosting for 3 days. Every bar uses an after dependency, so nothing overlaps. If theme alignment slips, asset assignment, writing, QA, publish, and boosting all slide by the same amount. There is no decision diamond and no loop back to planning.

When to use it

Read it when an editor, a designer, and a channel owner are still stacking tasks as if they could run in the same week. The after links make the handoff obvious: boosting cannot start on publish day, and QA cannot start while writing and design are still open.

How to adapt it

Change the 2 day, 4 day, 1 day, and 3 day lengths to your real cycle, and rename the sections if your calendar is monthly rather than a single sequence. If design overlaps the last days of writing, drop the after link on that pair and give them dates that overlap. Add a legal review bar only where it truly blocks publish. Keep the title if readers already know this as the content calendar.
